Create Account in Skype

When you open Skype for the first time, you will be prompted to sign in with an account. If you already have a Microsoft account, you can use that same account to log into Skype. However, if you don't yet have a Microsoft account, you can click 'Create One' to create one and then follow the steps to set it up.

You can use any of these methods to sign in to Skype: subscription to Microsoft 365, Hotmail or email address, or Xbox Live account. If you've already created an account through one of these methods, you can use that same account to log into Skype.

To get started with Skype, you'll need to download and install the app on your computer or mobile device. For desktop computers, you can visit the Skype website and click the 'Downloads' link to get the latest version for your operating system. The site should automatically detect the operating system you're using.

If you want to install Skype on your phone or tablet, you can visit the App Store on Apple iOS devices or the Google Play store for Android devices and search for the Skype app. For Mac users, you'll see 'Get Skype for Mac' and can click that link to download the version for your device.

Once you've installed Skype, you can start using it by logging in with your account. I've already done this on my Windows computer, and I've pinned the app to the taskbar so I can easily access it from here.
